While things are generally wonderful here Paris, be assured that life isn’t always free fancy hotel stays and croissants every day. Tyler and I recently went through our first foreign tax-filing experience. I spent quite a few weeks stressing out about it, but we found the people at our local tax office to be surprisingly helpful to us newcomers.
Thank you to Chloe of My Life Living Abroad for nominating me for the Sunshine Blogger Award, an award passed along from one blogger to another. Chloe created the Bloggers in Paris Facebook group, which I am so grateful to have stumbled upon here in France. It’s full of incredibly creative and talented people who are all interested in sharing their Parisian experiences. Here are my answers to Chloe’s fun set of questions, along with the two blogs I nominate next.
Earlier this week, I launched www.ourparisstories.com with two of my friends Christina and Leah. It’s been a whirlwind of a month, from idea conception (on a ferry to San Juan Islands), to team recruitment, to building, and finally to our public reveal. Christina runs our social media campaigns, Leah’s our photographer, and I build the website and overall vision.
